Environmental Litigation & Mass Torts
Environmental Litigation and Mass Torts
Wittels McInturff Palikovic maintains an active practice representing victims of environmental and mass torts, including victims of dangerous pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other products. For example, WMP lawyers served as co-counsel in over 200 Vioxx cases against the drug manufacturer Merck. The Vioxx class action settled for approximately $5 billion. Currently, the Firm is representing many victims in a class action who were harmed by Allergan’s defective BIOCELL breast implant devices that were recalled in July 2019 after they were found to cause breast implant-associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL).

We also represent victims affected by the discharge of toxic chemicals, dangerous pesticides, and hazardous materials into the environment, which can have a devastating effect on the health, livelihood, and property values of those in the vicinity.
