Ethan D. Roman

Ethan D. Roman is Counsel at the Firm.  His work focuses on complex consumer and employment class action litigation and individual employment discrimination matters.  

Mr. Roman is a graduate of Park University and received his law degree from Cornell Law School in 2014.  During law school, he was an Editor on the Cornell Law Review, an Associate Editor on the Legal Information Institute Supreme Court Bulletin, and participated in the Public Service Challenge. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Roman served in the United States Marine Corps for four years as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Specialist, which included a deployment to Iraq.

Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Roman practiced civil litigation defense for approximately seven years at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. During that time, Mr. Roman’s accomplishments include conducting and winning a civil rights trial on behalf of an incarcerated inmate in federal court in New York, representing veterans seeking health benefits in the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and publications in consumer finance and cybersecurity law. Mr. Roman is admitted to the bar in New York State as well as the Southern, and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of Coloardo, and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
