Wittels McInturff Palikovic is investigating reports of numerous reported problems with Fuego Element and Fuego Professional gas grills. These issues include grill lid paint peeling and bubbling issues, lid rust, rusted heat diffuser panels, and rust on the stainless burner. Affected models include F21C, F21C-H, F24C, and F21S.
Consumers have complained of serious problems with their Fuego grills, including but not limited to the grill’s inner ring failing to heat properly or heating excessively slowly, bubbling paint on the grill cover that often falls into food being cooked on the grill surface, fading color on the grill cover, and rust formation in various places on the grill. Consumers further say that the issues arise soon after purchase, in as little as “5 uses” or in less than one month, and that the grill cannot be left outside without becoming damaged. Fuego has admitted to some of these problems, as its website states for model F24C that it has a “Porcelain Enamel Lid to eliminate paint peeling and bubbling issues,” but as the consumer reviews indicate, this has not solved the defects and the complained of issues remain. Other consumers have indicated that when trying to address problems with their grills with Fuego’s warranty department, representatives do not respond or are slow to respond, putting consumers at risk of being unable to address any issues due to an expired warranty.
WMP has already filed class actions against companies that have similarly defective products and may file similar lawsuits on behalf of Fuego customers to recover other damages.
If your Fuego grill has experienced any of these defects, you are not alone! We urge you to contact a class action attorney at WMP for a free case evaluation. Should a lawsuit be brought, there is no cost or fee involved in joining the case. You can contact us by clicking here, calling (914) 775-8862, or emailing us at case@wittelslaw.com.
